Certified Nurse Aide
Training Program Our program is designed to prepare a student to work as a nursing assistant in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility setting. This course will focus on the basic nursing knowledge and skills needed to care for individuals with dignity and respect.
This course meets Oklahoma state and federal guidelines for nursing assistant training and after successful completion, the student will be eligible to take the required Competency exam for nursing assistants. The course lasts 8 days. Class hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm for the first week and Monday-Wednesday of the following week. Two of the eight days are held in a clinical setting from 7am-3pm. Tuition is $650 and includes training material and lab costs. (You will provide scrubs for clinical.) |
Oklahoma Home Care Administrator Course

According to the Oklahoma Association for Home Care, more than 80,000 people receive home care services every year in Oklahoma.
This program is a 160 hour course that offers training to individuals that do not have any experience working in home health or hospice. Upon completion of the training, the individuals are eligible to take the OHCAPA examination. After successful completion of the examination, the individual can apply for a home care administrator certificate. Class Hours are: Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm and 5pm-9pm You set your own schedule during these hours! Tuition is $2,500 and covers everything you need to know to succeed! |

Click here to verify if a nurse aide is in the registry.The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), Nurse Aide Registry (NAR), will no longer print and mail certification cards for initial certification or the renewal of nurse aide certification(s) in Long Term Care (LTC), Home Health Aide (HHA), Developmentally Disabled Direct Care Aide (DDCA), Residential Care Aide (RCA), Adult Day Care Aide (ADCA), and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) (including advanced CMA classifications).
Certified Nurse Aides can click on "Verify a Nurse Aide is on the Registry" to verify and print certification status. Employers are required to verify certified nurse aides status through the National Background Check Program and can also use "Verify a Nurse Aide is on the Registry" for their records.
